In every Rail budget it is the same story..no new trains, postponement of surveys/delayed project completion due to fanance crunch...as far as Mysore rail development is concerned.Wonder why tourist potential of Mysore is not recognised? Why our elected reps in parliament dont raise such issues, submit wish list and lobby for new trains etc.?
I know its sad to know that some stations are not developed, but let me tell you that there is no use of the MP raising the issue or whatever in the Parliament. It is left to the RM to decide whether the work(major work) will start or not. For example MP from Mangalore, Nalin Kumar Katil, had requested many things with the RM, but none of it has materialized.
IMHO, IR is ignoring Southern India. Most of North India is electrified even though some lines in south India were laid almost 100 years back !

leave the train wish list in the upcoming budget, as of now stil 30 SF trains announced last yr stil pending to b introduced due to lack of coaches.
I think if tis way trains gets announced, sooner we can expect a budget where new coach factories proposed wil overcum no of trains introduced..

Thats there. But Mr Kateel atleast has raised the issue in Parliament, whatever maybe end result. But,here the issues are not even pointed out by MPs of this area.
