I reached PM Palam at about 2000 hrs but everything seemed as usual without much hush hush about CRS inspection special... so I have not talked with Rly Station personnel and quickly left ...

It was CRS special only
Sufficient info was available regarding this inspection
In the day time, all critical points are get checked by CRS which are necessary for run safe e-loco, such as points, LCs, SP,SSP,SS, neutral zones etc. These points checked just like CRS of doubling.
In end, if CRS feel everything is OK, he tells speed according to observation and at that...

speed, speed trail can be done with e-loco.
Also for such CRS, it doesn't necessary that all Power station are working properly.
