Agree to the your point. Firstly both these trains need to run separately with reduced stoppages.All smaller stops especially within close gaps should be discontinued. Some examples like Rajamundry-Godavari-Kovvur. Then you also have Sambalpur Road, Sambalpur Junction, Parvatipuram, Parvatipuram Town, Samalkot & Pithapuram........
Not sure the logic of having stops after every 8-10 km. The irony is that the train has a decent run in its respective zones (SER & ECR). The problem is outside of its zones where for some reason it has ended up become easy prey for many stops and people continue travelling in the same the same despite it being very slow
