Have a query related to downgrading of confirmed seats.
When we check the pnr status, a note is displayed as
"Note that in case the Final Charts have not been prepared, the Current Status might upgrade/downgrade at a later stage."
Any circumstances which can lead to downgrade?

in some special circumstances(inability of railways to provide a coach),a fresh pnr is generated and you may be adjusted in a class lower than you have opted for...refund given by tte to you on board...if you cancel,full refund...never experienced it though...
