is longest Braking & Banking route in Indian Railways 55 KM stretch in the Western Ghats comprising of 50-60 viaducts .& 65 Tunnels approximately. This is the most complex rail route in Indian Railways constructed with great difficulty & challenges 900m above MSL
The second longest Banking & Braking route is in the Braganza Ghats which lies in the border of Goa & Karnataka , between the stations of Kulem, Goa & Castle Rock , karnataka.

s u r rit but Lat thursday i travelled from HAS-YPR by Karwar-Ypr express. train was reached on time to HAS 4.40pm, it reached ASk 5.35pm on time. But in ask it stopped till 7.15 pm and again before Tiptur it stopped for 30mt and it reached YPR 10.45pm. in whole train i saw maximum 200-300 passengers and all resevation rakes are full empty hardly i saw 10 passengers in D1 to D6.
Before extension and change in the timmings this train was running in huge rush. but now i heard by co passengers that they dn't wanted to travel in this train any more. IR has to think about the timmings of this train

Thanks, if u r starting from Hubli , then u can first visit Braganza ghats by taking a Goa train fronm UBL till MAO , then from MAO there are plenty of trains to MAJN/ MAQ and from MAJN , u may take 16516, alternatively from Karwar.
suggestion best time to visit ghats is after monsoon, in aug-sep full of greenary and water :)
