ANITHER HURDLE, the railways has decided not to break a single overbridge on the Jaipur-Sawai Madhopur track for electrification.
The proposed electrification on the route met with a technical hurdle since the height between train roof and the floor of the overbridge was not 7.6 metre (the mandatory height for electrification).
The problem would have led to the tearing down three of the five overbridges that were less than the proposed height. The current crisis has brought in more troubles for the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) since it had constructed the overbridges
