Sri Jagannath Express is as good as Abada Prasad - Brandon Buffard

So I travelled on this train in down direction i.e from Mumbai to Howrah.An end to end journey!

My thoughts about this train:-
Being the first express train between Mumbai and Howrah,it has its own charm and priority.Despite in the recent years many trains were being introduced between Mumbai and Kolkata via nagpur.But the demand for this train has not got down.

So here are my tips

Punctuality:-Ram bharose.It has RSA with Himgiri and punjab mail.If both gets horribly delayed, Then up train 12321 gets Rescheduled by several hours,thereby affecting it's good run.
However,If both the trains are late by few hours,12321 departs on its scheduled time and arrives CSMT almost ontime or a delay of just 30 minute's to 1 hour (Depends upon NCR controlling). Therefore 12322 Departs ontime

Avability:-Strongly recommended to book 4 months advance.Reason being is Dhanbad/Asansol/Jabalpur take this train as its first choice.So the train seats gets booked very fast,Ac being first.

Food:-Better to buy Food from Stations.Food quality is good of Pantry car but the staff behaviour is rude and ignortant!

Cleanliness:-OBHS is avaible.They try their best to clean the train.Toilets in Sleeper gets choked while in AC,toilets are good.

Railfanning:-One of the best train for railfanning.Cross many trains enroute and if your train is delayed by 3 hours or more,then get ready to face the overtake by "Rajdhani" gang of NCR in Vindhyachal-Chunar section!
