SumanChattapadhyay~ 1517 blog postsRecently there has been a demand of providing stoppage of Howrah -New Jalpaiguri Shatabdi exp at Bardhaman station. Discussion for the same is going on at zonal level between NFR and ER but both zones havenot reached to any conclusion till now. The new TAAG may see the inclusion of this halt if both the zones agrees to it.
So what do u think, stoppage of NJP HWH shatabdi exp should be provided at Bardhaman or not???

Howrah Raj has commercial halt in both direction. Quota also has been given for both up and down train. Whereas anga exp has commercial halt only when it goes to YPR, while coming from YPR, it dont have any commercial halt. One cannot book ticket or deboard at BWN in YPR Bgp anga exp
It's A Shatabdi, Not An Intercity.... No Shatabdi / Jan Shatabdi Stops At BWN ....They All Pass By
So what? It all depends on patronage. If BWN can cater that train, then obviously stoppage should be there. And if it can't then stoppage is not needed. It's not about which train it is. Let's not forget that BWN is providing decent patronage to Raj.
