This is regarding the appointment of Monitors. For TLMs, we require a minimum of 1000 Confirmed TLs. For FMs, we require members to promise to abide by the guidelines and be free of controversies. For other Monitors, we require the member to be in good standing.

For example, if our TLMs believe that you have acquired 1000 TLs through spam updates, then you may not be appointed automatically. Similarly, if you promise to abide by the FM Guidelines, but some members will "always" suspect you of bias and create trouble in the Forum if you are FM, this means that members are not accepting you as FM.

In summary, this community is not about the "moderator" appointing people against the wishes of members, but the community itself accepting you.
