So as of now most of you may have heard Chennai Nizamuddin Garib Rath has been converted into a full fledged Humsafar train with Dynamic Fare from December 29, 2018.

Check the above link, no specific date mentioned. It's only that coaches will be introduced in September 2018 as notified by coaching department in future. And the train will run on Garib Rath fares till 29th December 2018.

Well, then the Presence of Garib Rath would put a nail in the coffin of Humsafar train as for obvious reasons the first choice of people would be Garib Rath without any doubt.
And due to high revenue generation power of Humsafar due to Railway's favourite child Flexi Fare, Railways is more into Humsafar than Garib Rath train.
