200 locomotives of type WAG/P - 7 & 9 will be homed by Daund Shed.
Its first locomotive shed of Solapur Division.
Currently 60% work is completed.

Good news there . It's time to bid goodbye to wcam3 on Mumbai Daund line for train's like 11027/8 11301/2 and Mumbai Nagercoil trains once the loco shed is commissioned.
Hope swr also overcome electric loco shortages after dd els is commissioned because it will take another 3 years for guntakal els to be completed
How will SWR overcome Electric loco shortages ?? DD E loco shed is meant for over coming Loco shortages between Delhi Daund and Mumbai Pune Daund line.it has no business with SWR , Currently SWR is planning to home Electric locomotives under KJM diesel shed meant to run only between Wadi - SBC.
No i mean dd locos will also be used to run trains in wadi sbc stretch it will take more time for kjm shed to home electric locos.
