One of the oldest running passenger train of ER, Bardhaman Hatia Passenger has been converted now into a MEMU. From today onwards, it will run with MEMU rake instead of conventional rake.
The fully loaded old conventional coaches entering stations of ER with the old customary loco link of Tata will be badly missed now

So no more lr required at gmo.....I really hope Dhn takes lesson from this and start it's memu services from to kgp,rnc and cic section stations
Ha aur ab ER, ECR aur SER ko isse v speedup karne ki bare main sochna chahiye. Ab to gmo main bas 10mins main LR possible hai
Sometimes upgradation does snatch away lots of memories from daily passengers. You see so many passengers may confuse this train with GC locals. Ultimately, they will get accustomed but still chitchats regarding the old ICF rake will go on for years. This was the first ever passenger service from HTE along with HTE-KGP Passenger which is still in ICF dress.
ER should focus more on enhancing MEMU rakes and add features like auto-loco call, in-train announcement, replacement of pantographs etc. I know by the time I am typing, ER is already thinking on ways getting them implemented under budget constraints. Hopefully, it's avg. speed will officially touch 35-40 kmph given the quick acceleration of MEMU.

slot chang krna hoga speedup krne se....ecr,ser insab slots mein freight operate krta hai....speedup krna mushkil hai...ecr,ser dono he allow nahi krega wo bhi memu k liye....yahan dynamic fare wali hs trains ko 110 ki speed dekar slot dete hain full of slacks wo memu ko speedup krenge....no chance
