BKSC-BJE falls under ECR also and it didn't approve pass through of MEMU via CRP to avoid interference for freight and allowed termination only. Else BJE-CRP was planned to go to BKSC after ECR didn't show confidence for extension of ADRA-VAA MEMU till GMO. It was like ADRA-GMO-BJE-BKSC-ADRA. Unfortunately, that did not take off papers. ADRA's TT line is free from other zone's interference.
BJE-CRP upto CRP was not approved many be cause of single CRP-RJB single line. But this section has been doubled now, so it could be extended with little efforts. TT line is free from interference but victim of own negligence. IPTN was provided with facilities to have passenger train but I don not know why doubling is required just to run one MEMU a day.
At least the present SZE-JGM MEMU can run as SZE-KGP MEMU instead of sending the rake from JGM to KGP as JGM-KGP Special MEMU. People are not aware that they can travel to KGP in same MEMU, so both should be merged instead of running special MEMU.
BSL owns stack of TT line along with Adra rail div. Any service needs approval of both the heads for getting operation. IPTN and CHAS were provided with basic amenities (no platforms yet) to run a MEMU. However, later BSL rejected it saying they would allow foreign traffic only during free hours i.e. night time.
Recently, after forcing a lot they have somehow agreed to let a day service pass through. MEMU rakes are dispatched from RCF and by Feb 2019, MEMU services will run at 60 kmph max. along the TT line.
