This train runs with a low occupancy and rests idle for ~12hrs at KZJ. On the other hand, the cities of Vijayawada and Guntur need a new dedicated train to Mumbai. Hence, it is better to extend this train to Guntur via Vijayawada as it increases the occupancy and provides a good alternative connection to Mumbai from the Capital City of Andhra Pradesh.
