The fare between Band-KCVL in the train is Rs 1295/- whereas sleeper AC fare in bus is Rs 2500 (Kallada, Kerala lines). Semi sleeper is approx Rs 1800-Rs 2000/-. This is for Friday (2-November).: Source : RedBus
For passengers from ERN & beyond train timings seem very convenient. Would be interesting to see if in the near future there is some reduction in bus fares, assuming of course that passengers start patronising the train.
Difference of fare between bus sleeper AC & train is approx Rs 1200/ which is huge
