Sir,
I think there is some confusion in station addresses. Likewise New Delhi NDLS, many other railway stations has two side entry. For example Indore and Old Delhi has entry points from both sides of the platforms. So, this fature also need to be highlighted in station addresses.
Thanks and regards.

@ Moderator,
Some one is coming from outside Delhi by taxi and he has to reach New Delhi Railway Station. What he should enquire? Paharganj/Ajmeri Gate either it is Paharganj or it is Ajmeri Gate. There are none two stations with same name and any one can easily ask for New Delhi Railway Station. Every one even a roadside layman 'll guide you to NDLS. So there is no logic in Paharganj/Ajmeri Gate New Delhi. In my opinion Station Name, District and State name is sufficient to complete the address tab of the Railway Station.
Thanks

It may provide an idea for address.
Else throughout India, you never need to communicate address for any station but just ask to get dropped @ X Railway or Bus Station.
The mention of address is for online users, if he isnt aware about the location, which may lead him/her to plan/replan.
Like Paharganj do have cheap hotel to stay or Ajmeri do have

gud connectivity, along with ginger accomodation!!
As far as travellers on road, they dont need to open laptop & search address in station tab!!!

Thanks for the discussion. As Vinay says, in Delhi, yes, the entrances to the stations (also Nizamuddin) are far apart, and the different entrances to the station are significant. People do make a considered decision of going to either Pahar Ganj or Ajmeri Gate. So, whenever you take a taxi/auto to NDLS, the driver always asks you whether you want to go to Pahar Ganj or Ajmeri Gate.
The address field is indeed for station address, but there are no specific rules, and anything that would help passengers is appropriate in that field.
However,

your comment does raise the need for many more pieces of information in the station tab - availability of prepaid taxis, number of platforms, platform details (for e.g. > PF 12, better to board from Ajmeri Gate for NDLS, etc.). We shall be looking into refining station info more so as to contain much more info.
Thanks a lot for raising the subject.

@Vinay
Sir,
Vinay ji has a point that Paharganj has good number of hotels and Ajmeri Gate has good connectivity. But this piece of information is unavailable in address tab.
The address tab may be expanded accordingly to contain all the relevant details. As in the case of Dadar, Mumbai we can add that long distance trains are available on DDR East side. So

those passengers, who has to alight from local trains to catch a long distance train may plan accordingly and save time.
Thanks and regards.
