A RIDE IN THE FIRST LHB RUN OF AGNIVEENA EXP

After ER gave the surprise yesterday, I finally planned to take a LHB ride in the first LHB run of 12342 Agniveena exp from Asansol to Bardhaman. Interestingly today the rake was placed in the pf by 4.30, almost 1hrs before it's schedule dep from Asansol. Most of the people were amazed with the new avatar of the train. Many of the passengers were asking " Dada, eta Agniveen to??" (bro, is it Agniveena??) while many were busy in taking selfies...

and pics with the new LHB rake. Finally we departed at 5.30 from Asansol with the customary "LHB jerk". Howrah Wap 4 22311 coupled with dead DLW made wap 7 37034 were doing the honour today. As usual, red beast of Howrah was flawless in it's duty, did flat 110 most of the time and reached Bardhaman 5mins before it's schedule. The same rake is scheduled to depart today as Shantiniketan exp after Agniveena reaches Howrah and further as Coalfield exp after Shantiniketan reaches howrah.
