What to expect when you are about to travel in first class.
While booking I was very excited when I was asked the seat preference and I happily selected a coupe. But, when I arrived at my coach what I saw was shocking, my coach FC1 was a 1997 made sleeper coach converted into a 2×2 chair car.

They should remove the old coach. It was a long time back (in the early 1980s) I travelled by the First Class (Chair Car) on Flying Ranee. There was no AC Chair car on the train at that time. At that time the First Class (chair car) was new and very comfortable. The other FC was a normal cabin/coupe FC which used to be overcrowded with regular MST commuters. Now the times have changed and the railways should remove these coaches. Other than Flying Ranee, I doubt whether other trains have the FC (chair car) coaches
