Pic 1 : Spitting and defacing the newly painted wall. In order to maintain the old building, they have retained this dome like structure and painted and renovated it in Feb /blog/post/3081977 but now look at it. The year is not yet over.

Pic 2, 3. 4 : Desperate for train, any train..... This Inter city passenger has these many waiting. It already comes full from UBL. So less trains for the people, but freight after freight keeps going - UBL division.

BAY to OBM

The pics of the foundations starts from BAY.
I didn't notice any foundations for the bypass line.
At many places in the city limits where the line runs along congested areas,

no foundations have been laid yet.
After that it is seen.
The line which I spoke of here /blog/post/3674534 actually first deviates into the mountains and then again another line joins the mainline. Both the deviation and joining points are now disconnected and the line is abandoned with some parts removed and tar has been laid at the LC over that rail. It was for some mining purpose I guess.
Also seen is some material dumped at OBM station.
At BAY the 2 mainlines - PF 2 and the mainline next to PF 2 have no foundations yet.
And PF 1 looks tough. The overhanging fixtures are many - the old ceiling holding them and don't know how they will install OHE now.

OBM to SLM
-
The foundations have been laid in almost all places except a few stretches and the bridge.
Workers were working at some places.
SLM is the ballast depot of this line.

At the station, no signs of any work. On the mainline a board is kept for the GTL-JRU passenger to indicate the halt of the engine, this I guess must be an old one when there would just be the mainline and no PF line or PF.

SLM to RDG.

Work is going on at many places. I noticed till about the 45th Km.
Some work besides PF 2 is going on. Don't know if it for PF3 or just a short loop to park maintenance vehicles, as just at one end the work is going on.
