Because of politics , Kalaburgi rail division is pending at IR. Not even a single new train is sanctioned via Kalaburgi.even the pitline at kalaburgi is not used to its full extent. New Foot over bridge connecting 4th flatform is under construction since years.only one DEMU train is running on New Bidar Kalaburgi line. It looks weird that weekly Chennai Ahmadbad express is not given stoppage at Kalaburgi.
