But it is wrong info, Sri BG. You cant get UT from stations other than boarding. The rule in the pic was correct one year back. The facility is now been suspended. But you will get it from station which comes under same cluster. ie. for MAS -CBE UT can be purchased from counter at MS

I realise that, so stations without UTS do not have the ''advance unreserved'' facility. So can I safely conclude that ''small'' stations do not have this facility, like I asked?

Distance restriction was not there in picture earlier and unreserved tickets were issued 3 days in advance at UTS counters. Later, when IR came to know about the misuse of such tickets, they imposed distance restriction of minimum 200 kms.
