these guys are so powerful, they can haul upto 27 coaches effortlessly, where a WAP-5 fails to do it. WAP-7 n WAP-4 are the best haulers of IR.
WAP-5 can't haul more than 20 coaches!!
Its designed to haul 20 coaches at higher mps.
whereas WAP-7/WAP-4 are designed to haul 27/28 coaches at 130kph(110 for express and the rest belongs the premier category.)
WAP-5 is torque power is low when compared to WAP-7.
