I travel to work via the road below this line.
1. The bridge construction is complete except for the last 500 meter stretch near Mount.
2. The MRTS station will be on top of the existing Mount Metro station. So, the line will not merge with the existing MSB - TBM local train tracks.

I can ask the workers on my way to office after the lockdown. The bridge construction for the last 500 meters is not even started, so the entire Velachery - Mount line opening will defenitely take more than a year. We can expect a partial extension of a few trains to Adambakkam
Only last 500 meters left but Rlys has idea of operating trains till that point i.e. till Adhambakkam
