At this time, the PNR Forum is functioning again, albeit at a greatly reduced volume and efficiency. Refreshing PNRs is a very cumbersome affair. We may expect this to end as well, eventually, as the Govt. tightens these controls further. At IRI, we CANNOT waste any more time on this fruitless endeavour. The future of the site and our community needs to be sustainable.

has expended a LOT of resources to build up the PNR Prediction infrastructure. Members' time is VERY valuable. We have to cut our losses while we can. We absolutely CANNOT allow our members' time to be wasted with PNR Refreshes, Availability Check, etc. You may use the Govt. apps for that.

Accordingly, the site/RailFan app will cut our losses and move to refocus on other aspects of our community, Rail Spotting, etc. where the site information is 100% sourced from within us.

Specifically, the future of IRI is Trip Diary, RailSpotting, Overtakings, Travelogues, Blogging and Pictures. These aspects will be further enhanced to keep this community alive.

The new RailFanning app will soon go into Open Beta, and will enshrine all the above features.
