False news.. Chintpurni road station is approx 15 kms from the shrine. Might not be a big distance in metro, but surely very-2 far when it comes to remote towns.
you move 500m out of the chintpurni road station and you will be wandering in no where, leave aside 15 kms.

is it suitable to travel to new station Chintpurni Marg (CHM) to travel to Temple?
I wish to go this month using himachal express. any one from locally can tell if Taxis will be available at CHM as I have small kids with me

Una will be a much better option for this. It is a decent size city and many options for going to Chintpurni.
Alternatively, you can take a direct Himachal Roadways bus from Delhi, which would be more convenient.

You can get taxi from Amb, why deboard at Una. Also Chintpurni shrine is near from Daulatpur Chowk rather than Chintpurni marg...
