Hi,
Was just checking the running status of Shramjeevi SF Exp and found some seriously contradicting facts from 2 trainenquiry.com (the old one & the new one). Here attached the screenshots.

hmmm. Too much confusion, has any body thought that for past many decades how has railway managed to convey train section location to controllers. There is a simple means of block and section concept. As soon as a train enters a sections that section is occupied. This is notified to railway controllers via internal railway communication network. Detection is train position can be fully automatic in auto signalling section, or semi sutomatic in RRI sections or even fully manual using age old method of token exchange(circular ring carrying token). Any of the methods leads to accurate visibility of trains in sections for controllers. In railway routes most sections are about 6 to 7 km. new train enquiry picks up this current section data from control servers. Please see the control section and display at Jhansi, or Bhusaval or Ghaziabad to see how precise info is available even without GPS.
