Hi. Just wondering whether Kalyan Loco shed will get any WAP 7 or WAP 5 Locomotives in near future. I mean its now been a while after the AC conversion and is pretty disappointing to see this loco shed getting ignored all the time. I mean we should consider the fact that this is one of the shed providing support to the Mumbai division of CR.
Back in 2016 they did allotted 4 P7 to Kalyan and BRC but then transferred all of them to Ajni and left KYN alone so I'm expecting they are not in a mood to give any passengers locos to KYN and will give P7's to either BSL or Pune instead of KYN...
That's too sad. Despite holding a variety of locos ,it still has to face this ignorance from the authority. But thanks for the update buddy

Well even I want to hear people say KALYAN gets a new allotment with fresh WAP7s or atleast transferred BSL WAP4s. It is obvious as for new because intercity trains are getting AJNI WAP7 as a link so KYN should get allotments. Sheds like KANPUR AND ERODE has P7s so this is something sad to see that the first loco shed of Indian Railways is treated like this.. :(

Indeed Brother. For now we should not lose hope of this loco shed getting WAP 7 or other passenger locos. After all the WCAMs will soon be relieved from their duty, I guess.
