* From 1969 to 1994 Rajdhanis were operated on only 2 routes, the premiermost routes of IR i.e. Delhi-Mum, Delhi-HWH.
* In absence of superfast trains and other branded trains like Shatabdies (till 1990), Durontos, HS.
