I have RAC 4 in AC 2 tier in today's train. will it get confirmed?

it didnt confirm. stuck at RAC 4. one wierd thing i noticed today. 37 and 39 the two inside lower berths were given to RAC. i got one of them. I thought RAC was the side lower
the side lower berth is shared by 2 RAC person.
as soon as one of then get a confirmed berth, the 2nd person gets the full side lower berth

no thats not what has happened. I have RAC and i got inside lower.

i got confirmed berths last night. TTE came after 3 hours and it seems some passengers didnt turn up. i was lucky. I got RAC with a family that had two tickets and 4 passengers (2 small children)
