Which line is referred to as Nalhati-Azimganj Bypass line? Can anyone explain here

The line which goes from Nalhati to Azimganj I guess. But that is the Branch Line, not Bypass Line.
The line which u are mentioning is the Azimganj bypass line (indicated in the picture). It was constructed for directly bringing the Coal wagons for Sagardighi Thermal Plant from Rampurhat Marshalling Yard WITHOUT having any reversal at Azimganj, hence taking the shorter bypass route dedicated for freight.
🔶 Sometimes route diverted Mail/Express trains have also used this line, but no regular trains use this bypass.

Yes, the track shown above is the Azimganj Bypass Line, which is supposedly called Nalhati Azimganj Bypass Line.
Thanks for the info. I was aware of this line but had doubt as this is calling bypass line.
Another thing, do you know or have any information whether this bypass line is owned by Railway or the PDCL (means who is taking care of the line in terms of providing fund)
