Hi all,
Just hav a doubt... Pls clarify..
I hav a SL ticket for 20th from Madgaon to Dadar. Can I travel in the same ticket to Vashi after alighting at Panvel? Just want to avoid the suburban Queues at Panvel.

Usually Long Distance tickets are valid in suburban route in same direction, provided u alight at a station short of ur destination.
In this case i am doubtful as suburban and mandovi will travel in different route.

I think no. Because vashi is under harbour line, and doesnt come under the route from panvel to Dadar which the express train like Mandovi Express follows. Therefore u need to buy a ticket.
From Panvel the route followed by Mandovi & Suburban Trains to vashi are different so you are not suggested to use the SL ticket..U have to buy a separate ticket also by the time mandovi arrives it would be around 7:30 PM so there will not be heavy rush at counters you should get them easily.
