With this arrangement , SWR can do away with 16511/16517 and run SBC-KAWR as a dedicated train.
Patronage for 16511/16517 beyond MAQ into Kerala is usually underwhelming and this has also been discussed previously. Passengers south of Kannur hardly take that over 16527 and for the few passengers boarding that train from Kannur and Payyanur this extension is as good as the alternative. Timing wise this is not too big a stretch, and this can reach Kasaragod at 12.00 and depart by 16.00 from there itself.

16565 is a wonder of IR. Evidence of how bizarrely IR/SWR assesses its passengers.
It continues to operate the underutilized 16511/16517 when there's a crying demand for more coaches for 16513 in Udupi and Karwar pitting the two demographics against each other.
On the other hand it runs the Gomateshwara exp the same way, which can be extended elsewhere given that Mangalore is not able to fill it up. Already slot is available for extension to Karwar/Madgaon. Or, it could be extended all the way south up to Shoranur, which in...

ASK pitlane is not fully equipped to handle a 21+ coacher LHB train.
If SR can take over this train and maintain at MAQ, I make this suggestion: Let Kannur YPR run uptoto MAQ. From YPR, it can follow Gomateshwara/ Karwar express. Similarly, morning say by 1030 to 11 it can start from MAQ and reach YPR by 1930 and continue to CAN.
With this, tri weekly Gomateshwara can run upto Karwar or atleast upto Udupi. We get 2 day train between MAQ and SBC. Day time train between Karwar to SBC 6 days

16527/28 നിലവിൽ നീട്ടേണ്ട ആവശ്യം ഇല്ല. മറിച്ചു കണ്ണൂരിൽ നിന്ന് മംഗലാപുരം വഴി പോകുന്ന ട്രെയിനുകൾ സ്വതതന്ത്ര ട്രെയിൻ ആക്കുകയും മൈസൂർ വഴി നിത്യേന ഉള്ള സർവീസ് ആക്കി മാറ്റുകയും വേണം. അത് വഴി സമയലാഭം മാത്രമല്ല കൂടുതൽ യാത്രക്കാരെ ആകർഷിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും. കാർവാറിൽ നിന്ന് വരുന്ന ട്രെയിനിനു വേണ്ടി കാത്തുനിക്കേണ്ട ആവശ്യവും ഇല്ല. അവർക്കു കൂടുതൽ കോച്ചുകൾ ഉള്ള ട്രെയിൻ ലഭിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.
