This is the Station In Which Most Of the Railway/train Shots of Iconic Malgudi Days were Shot During Meter Guage Era.
There was a Proposal Sent to Railway Board To Rename It To Malgudi Days From Arasalu.and to Construct a Museum .Nothing Yet Implemented. Station Name Reamins Arasalu
