12241 : slowed down by 20 mins
12242 : slowed down by 35 mins

14505 : slowed down by 45 mins
12412 : slowed down by 25 mins
12411 : slowed down by 20 mins
You must be wondering that Why I said nonsense.. It is because of this route which is just 6 years old and still on the verge of loosing it's top speed. The section now has 8-10 very long permanent/temporary speed restrictions of 45-50kmph. And you why ? Because of track quality, which is getting cheaper and cheaper day by day.
I suspect if the track sustains for one more decade if no maintenance is done rather increasing speed restrictions.
Imposing these would offer nothing. People of Punjab waited so long to get this track (LDH - Sahnewal-New Morinda -CDG). But now it is getting worsen due to poor track quality as well as swine under the track.
I have seen the trains running at 105kmph. But now it seem a distant dream to achieve it back.
