whether any funds are being/have been allocated to this project and if so, the details thereof and the time by which this line is likely to be completed; and
(c) whether there is any proposal to run EMU between Alwar and Delhi Cantt. and if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor?
Answer in Lok Sabha :-
(a) The doubling and electrification of Delhi-Alwar line has been completed and commissioned.
(b) Does not arise, as the work of doubling and electrification completed.
(c) No, Sir. Owing to operational and infrastructural constraints including terminal constraints at Alwar, introduction of EMU trains between Alwar and Delhi Cantt. is not feasible, at present.
