Let this thread be of some help (least possible) to those book tatkal.
Kindly post in the browser you used, what time you got ticket booked, also ticket details.
Let us post only the success stories, as we are aware that failure stories are FAR HIGHER.

Prefer Axis bank PG, so that it will not redirect to other page. So it will be quick. And try to avoid CC that has 3d security - it will be an extra round trip for the 3d authentication. And and and and all these things will depend on the season you are booking the ticket and train popularity. :) I never succeeded for Howrah-Yeshwanthpur train to book a tatkal ticket on Friday :(
