I feel both are useful and it depends on demand in particular section they are introducing. But currently they have stopped producing GR coaches on largescale and concentrating on LHB's.

berth space constraints and also cleanliness problem is there. Speed-wise train is good. Quality of bed rolls and ac functioning are also not upto the mark.

if ur priority is economy,budget GR is outstanding but if ur priority is speed,comfort then duronto is good

Both trains are different purpose only in terms of quota allocation. If we compare the Ranchi GR, with any duranto, will notice that this GR has only one difference that the GR shares the quota with the intermediate station. Otherwise the cleanness is better than the Rajdhani plying in same route, punctuallity is same , but the speed is greater than the rajdhani in some section.
