Well, if suburban plan is implemented as it is then most of the metro routes become redundant. In practical, Metro requires huge investment but this suburban proposal seems to be using existing route so it is more doable. IR is incurring huge losses in Mumbai , chennai, and Kolkata sub urban rails that should not be repeated in Bangalore so fare should be increased
