vgirik~ 582 blog postsGuys good news. As per the latest new IR agreed to provide halt for VSKP-BZA-VSKP Uday train at Tadepalligudem, Divisional Railways yet to confirm and provide arr/dep time for Udya at TDD. Enjoy Uday ride! :)

Well, Tadepalligudem is a Metropolitan City with a population of 20 lakhs, bustling with a daily passenger traffic of 3 lakhs and it also contributes to 97% of the GDP of the state. Actually, it needs a halt of 10 minutes, but they've just given 1 minute. Tadepalligudem is a centre for many IT giants like Google, Microsoft, Apple etc.,. And prestigious universities. 50% of AP population get their medicines from TDD. Tadepalligudem actually has 3 stations Tadepalligudem Central, Tadepalligudem Terminus and Tadepalligudem. While a 100 trains originate from each station, they've given just 1 minute halt only at one station. In fact, the railways are planning for Vande Bharat Express trains from Tadepalligudem Central to Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad. Tadepalligudem has a Major Sea Port and an international airport too.. Still the IR neglects Tadepalligudem. Actually, every train in the HWH - MAS section should stop only at TDD after MAS...
