Hi,
Yesterday myself & mum travelled in the 2S coach of 12677(SBC-ERS intercity) from PGT to ERS by 12677 with an UR ticket.The TTE walked thru our coach 3-4 times,but didn't ask us to show the ticket!!
Before purchasing ticket,I asked at the enquiry counter at PGT and they said that I have to approach the TTE with the UR ticket and pay Rs.15 extra

You need to check if distance restriction is there for Kerala express. If its there you are not supposed to board that even though it stops at station of your interest.
