The impact of ALCO on EMU dosen't look its speed was 15 kmph ...it looks speed was much higher before applying brakes by ALCO driver as it crashed into EMU drivers cabin. Many coaches of EMU rake almost climed on each other and any other coaches highly damaged.... it was a new MEDHA EMU rake also.
Case might be, MMTS was gaining a good speed, as it's a main line.
Yes that can also be because these new MEDHA EMU rakes accelerate very fast. But looking at the photos of collision I feel the speed of ALCO was high and that alco collided and entered inside emu drivers cabin and not the vice-versa. But it is purely my thinking. Rly investigators will bring the truth out lets wait for it.
There was a video going viral in social media. As per that video, MMTS was going at good speed and hit the ALCO which entering the UP line.
Yes i also saw that video....... i told you earlier also these new Medha EMU rakes accelerate very fast and takes good speed .... so that maybe the case the emu driver . But very shocking head on collision.... emu driver didn't seen the ALCO comming from front could have applied brakes earlier then the impact of collision damage would have been less and that too that emu just started from a stopping station. The video of CCTV footage shows that emu ramped at good speed on the alco. Except 4 to 5 coaches full new medha emu rake got damaged.
