Electrification updates of Mau, newly built washing line (1 day temporary maintainance of ANVT-MAU etc)
Also electrification is in progress for phephna-indara line too which will be completed at same time of arj-mau-bhatni
.
Wiring is going on 2 weeks ago at full pace, expected kV charge by month end and CRS in December may be if substations finishing work will be done

Elocos from new year is expected..
Dozens of trains will get eloco like Lichchavi, gorakpur intercity, chappra intercity, bapudham, purvanchal, many passengers, kashi express, durg nautanwa etc as katni-satna section will also electrified at same time so gkp bound trains going to that side will also run on elocos
.
Meanwhile Shahganj-amh-mau section not yet electrified and no work has been done so far, new tender proposed as earlier one have some design faults due to semaphore signalling at azamgarh and few other problems..
It take almost 9 months more to electrfiy that section.
As long as doubling, it will be completed by 2024 for ARJ-BHATNI exc. Mau-indara
2022 for Indara-Phephna
No idea about Azamgarh-shahganj..
Memus will replace passengers and demus for sure as the section stations height has been raised 2 years back and some work for station also going in indara-bhatni section..
Mps is 110 for ARJ-BTT but capacity is 130 as per trials..
They had plan to make fast section for BSB-GKP so that 1 can easily reached to GKP/BSB from BSB/GKP in time about 4 hours or less (future proposals)

Mau may get extension of bsb bound train or new train due to newly built washing line and to ease congestion at BSB

Well ye 2013 ka proposal tha kuki usi time washing line banane ka kaam hua tha.. jo ki kisi tarah ab ja k complete hua bich me complete kia tha fir technical prob k karan dubara thik kia

Ab to mushkil h extension ho, baki bsb ner dvsn chahta h ki mau ko train mile as NER ki income bahut km h aur vo income + freight movement dono badhana chahta h is side specially after electrification..
Trains whose SM is at BSB NR/NER and have extra TAT may extend, need some political approach which is quite less in MAU bcoz of MP, in my opinion MUV SF extension is needed or else some train to new delhi with sf type and dedicated services to mumbai -kolkata etc..
.
Extension only for
1. MUV SF
2. Sabarmati
3. And any mumbai bound train
