Two CR trains (Erstwhile Chalukya Exp) with RSA - 11021/22 Dadar Tirunelveli Dadar Exp & 11005/06 Dadar Puducherry Exp runs via Pune - Hubli - Bangalore line with Reversal at Yesvantpur Jn. Thereafter both trains take different route.

While for 11021/22 Exp it is mentioned as 'via Yesvantpur' , while for 11005/06 Exp it is not mentioned like that in Train name. What should be followed in this case, For Uniformity -

I am saying this according to site rules
🔹"Via Yeswantpur" is required only for Dadar - Tirunelveli - Dadar Express because there are two trains running in different routes but source (Dadar) and destination (Tirunelveli) stations are same. So "via _____" is required. Another train in between Dadar and Tirunelveli is 22629/22630
🔹"Via Yeswantpur" is not required for Dadar - Puducherry Express because this is the only train with source as Dadar and destination as Puducherry

Even for Tirunelveli its not required because already Chalukya is mentioned and many people of the entire region of this route knows Chalukya runs via Yesvantpur

For Dadar - Tirunelveli Express "via Yeswantpur" is required. All people might not know route of the train, especially who are not familiar with South India

🔹I will give you example why "via Yeswantpur" is required. It is not exact case. But somewhat similar case. This happened many years ago
🔹I was traveling in 11303 - Manuguru - SCSMT Kolhapur Express from Ballari to Ghataprabha. At that time it was running as Hyderabad - SCSMT Kolhapur Express. I met people who were traveling from Hyderabad to Miraj in unreserved compartment on office related work (I was also traveling in same compartment). They were bored because train was taking a longer route and journey was taking more time than they expected. I asked why did they choose this train? They said they don't know regarding railways. So they enquired in railway station and got unreserved ticket and got into

the train. They were unaware of the route & journey time. That was the only direct train between Hyderabad and Miraj then. If there was a train via Kalaburagi, Solapur, Kurduwadi then they would have travelled in that train. So route of the train is very important. Everybody will not have more knowledge regarding railways
🔹Here there are 2 trains from Dadar to Tirunelveli which travel in different routes i.e., one via Yeswantpur and another via Konkan. So we have to mention "via ______ ". This will help in people choosing trains for their journey

This Poll was to know People's choice, but now, looks like as Railway Board has approved - Bypassing Yesvantpur Jn, All together. No 'via Ypr' is required for both trains in future.
