Was thinking that, North Indian train SL class is habituated with this scenario. But, here the same is seen in South India as well.
Not sure if this was because of the Makar Sankranti holiday ,.....people rushing homes for leaves. Moreover on looking at the time it seems quite in sync with office time. But having travelled in this train before have not come across this earlier !

South india all trains experiences rush in SL in festive times and other days max 10% unauthorised travel that too office times in that particular stretch. While the trains coming from east HWH, GHY have the door area jammed with people during summer and and other holidays other days it is ok.
reasons
1) obviously festive season
2) Always you can see huge crowd at yadgir station who either move towards Bengaluru or Mumbai in search of livelihood.
3) Less no.of general coaches for short distance commuters.
