Sir, what is the status of doubling of Manmad-Ahmednagar section of Central Railway?/ has any work started in this section?

I would also ask you if you have any idea of doubling the Daund-Ahmednagar section? What is the progress and has any work started between Daund and Ahmednagar? Please throw some light on this Daund-Ahmednagar section.

Hello.No work between Daund and Kashti.Good progress of Earth work between Srigonda road and Ranjangaon road.No progress in work between Rangaon to Vilad. Progress of Earth work between Vilad and Belapur. No progress in work between Belapur and Kopargaon.Nearly 80 %earthwork completed.Bridge construction over Godavari not started as yet.As per estimates, it may take more 5 years to complete ie 2026-27.
I happened to travel on the route between Daund and Manmad last week. I found that large amount of earthwork adjacent to present railway line has been completed on this section. Construction of a railway bridge over river Bhima (near Daund) has also started. Pillars of bridge are now under construction. The bridge may be completed by year 2022 end. This is the bridge under construction next to present railway bridge on river Bhima, as this bridge will be used for the double track between Daund and Kashti stations. At many places on this section- even laying of railway lines for double track is in progress.

I happpened to travel again between Pune and Ahmednagar. Good amount of work regarding laying of railway lines between Daund and Ahmednagar. Daund Kashti railway line work done, except construction of bridge over Bhima river which is in progress. Other sections between Kashti and Ahmednagar-earthwork-ground leveliing -beside laying railway line -patch work in progress. Expect Kashti Ahmednagar railway line be completed by May 2022. Good work.
