The Belagavi-Vasco bi-weekly train, which was launched six months ago amid much fanfare, has failed to gain the expected response from the people. Owing to its unpopularity and lukewarm response, the train has now been reduced from eight bogies to four.

This should have arrived VSG early morning at around 7 or 8 am as lots of vegetable, flowers and fruit sellers from Belagavi and Khanapur come to Goa regularly. Also departure should have been in evening after Goa express facilitating them to return back. Such timings would have been helpful for Dudhsagar too. Also running biweekly was a bad move. SWR is running this biweekly with bad timings and also with bad controlling increasing it's delays.
