Looks like 12809/12810 Mumbai Mail and 12859/12860 Gitanjali Express are about to see significant changes within a few days, that will go into effect in July:
Booking Suspended
I suspect it will involve speed increase, possible elimination of a few stops, realignment of coaches, and an RSA between the two. RSA will allow freeing up of one full rake as the two would be able to use 7-rakes as opposed to 8-rakes with 4 each.

Each rake costs about Rs 40 crore. Increased RSA can save a ton. It also allows optimization of maintenance. Mail's rake occupies the yard almost 15 hours in HWH, and Gitanjali's rake probably sits for 24+ hours. With RSA, rake that arrives with Mail at 5 am (could be sooner if they speed it up a bit more), it would leave as Gitanjali at 2 pm or so. The Gitanjali rake that arrives around noon would head back as Mail at night. That's significant space saving.
