Aburoad WDM-3A in SHF mode hauling 22475 Bikaner-Coimbatore AC Express running with ICF Rajdhani coaches crosses the B Bridge over the Sharavati River. This is the longest bridge on Konkan Railways.
The AC Express now runs till Hisar with LHB Coaches. Extension and conversion of ICF to LHB coaches was done on 9th August, 2018....

The Konkan Railways is getting electrified. At present all the 3 Sharavati river bridges are wired and ready for charging. Electric loco trials have reached Bijoor from Mangalore end.
These bridges are between Honnavar and Manki railway stations in the state of Karnataka.
