With VB sty;e trains set to come thick and fast, need for such a powerful passenger version of the loco is and will be very less. And we won't be having 44/48 coacher LHB trains. This one is for DFCs.
First they will run in DFC route , there is propose to make such 1000 engine in 10 year, railway will gradullay use such engine in mail express trains too. .
In 10 years, we'll have too many trains running in EMU/MEMU configuration.
These configs can be extended beyond 24 coaches if needed without compromising top speed/pickup. TBH, I don't see any plans to use longer than 24-27 coacher passenger trains. In the mean time, we may see an upgraded P7 having more power/pickup/speed.

I don't think that in 10 yrs EMU styled trains will dominate.... Yes the production might increase, but it will take very long time to convert the coaches into train sets.... Rather push-pull might be the way to go....
With modified gear ratios this might actually be game changer as with that horsepower it can easily achieve 200 kmph... And with push-pull it may attain very good acceleration for the normal LHB coaches. Let's wait ND see, it's just my opinion....
