I booked a ticket for this train to MAJN from prs counter. I didnt get the seat number, nor it was in waitlist. why this thing is happened. till it is showing as Avbl?

it is showing ;like 'CNF' thats it. the clerk also told me. it is not in w/l, nor there is a seat number. but you will get seat for sure. i said its ok, book it.
